Customs Day of Azerbaijan is celebrated annually on January 30. This day was established to honor the employees of the country's customs service, who play an important role in protecting state interests, ensuring economic security and regulating international trade.

Customs Day in Azerbaijan was established by the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan on January 25, 1997. The date of January 30 was chosen in honor of the establishment of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan in 1992, when the country had already gained independence after the collapse of the USSR.

On this day, ceremonial meetings, award ceremonies for employees who have distinguished themselves in the service, as well as various events with the participation of government officials and the leadership of the customs service are held.
