The Tax Service Workers' Day of Azerbaijan is celebrated annually on February 11. This professional holiday is established to recognize the merits and significance of the work of the employees of the tax authorities of Azerbaijan. The day was established by the decree of the President of Azerbaijan in 2005 in honor of the establishment of the State Tax Service of the country.

The date of February 11 is associated with the foundation of the Ministry of Taxes of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2000, which became one of the key agencies responsible for managing the tax system.
