The Cavalcade of the Magi is a traditional event celebrated in some Spanish-speaking countries and regions, especially in Spain and Latin America, on the night of January 6, the feast of the Epiphany or Three Kings. This celebration symbolizes the arrival of the three wise men (Magi) from the East, who came bearing gifts to the infant Jesus.

According to the Gospel texts, the wise men came from the East following a star to bring gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to the newborn Jesus. The Feast of the Epiphany marks this important moment in the Christian tradition.

Celebration of the Cavalcade
Parades. On the evening of January 5, many towns and villages host colorful parades with people dressed as the Magi and other characters. The parades usually include musicians, dancers, and theatrical performances.

Gifts and treats. During the cavalcade, the three wise men throw sweets and small gifts to the spectators, especially children, creating an atmosphere of celebration and joy.

Three Kings Cake. On the evening of January 6, the Three Kings Cake (Roscón de Reyes) is traditionally prepared - a sweet round cake decorated with fruit, which symbolizes the crown. Figures and beans are often hidden inside the cake, adding an element of play and surprise.
