Reconciliation Day, celebrated annually on April 2, is a holiday that aims to promote peace, understanding and forgiveness. The day aims to inspire people to resolve conflicts, restore harmony and improve relations between individuals, groups and countries.

While Reconciliation Day is not an official global holiday, its significance is to remind society of the importance of forgiveness and peace, both on a personal level and in the broader context of international relations. On this day, people can be called upon to reflect on their conflicts, both internal and external, and to take action to resolve them.

How Reconciliation Day is Celebrated
Personal and Community Initiatives. People can use this day to reconcile with loved ones, friends or colleagues with whom they may have fallen out. It is also a time for forgiveness and to overcome old grievances.
