History of the Holiday
The holiday was established in 1993 by the Mature Market Resource Center (MMRC) to encourage physical activity and healthy living among older adults. Since then, it has become an annual event that brings together various organizations, such as senior centers, healthcare facilities, fitness clubs, and others, to organize events aimed at improving the health and well-being of the older generation.

Goals and Objectives
The main goals of National Senior Health & Fitness Day include:
