International Colour Day is celebrated on March 21st and was established by the International Colour Association (AIC) in 2008 to highlight the importance of color in our lives. The day recognizes the influence of colors in various aspects of daily life, including art, design, science, and nature.

March 21st was chosen because it coincides with the spring equinox, when day and night are balanced, symbolizing the harmony of light and color. Around the world, events such as exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and educational programs are organized to raise awareness about the impact of color on emotions, behavior, and culture.
