Parakram Diwas is a festival observed in India on 23 January to honour Subhash Chandra Bose, a prominent leader in the country's freedom struggle. The day was established in 2021 to mark Bose's 125th birth anniversary and his remarkable achievements in the Indian freedom struggle.

History of the festival
Subhash Chandra Bose was born on 23 January 1897 in Cuttack, Orissa, and became one of the most influential figures in the Indian freedom movement. He was known for his determination and leadership, as well as his catchphrase "Give me blood and I will give you freedom!", which inspired many people to fight against British colonial rule.

Bose also founded the Indian National Army (INA) and was one of the first Indian leaders to use force to fight for independence. His works and ideas continue to inspire Indians to this day.

How Parakram Diwas is Celebrated
Memorial Events: Events are held in different parts of India to commemorate Subhash Chandra Bose. These include rallies, lectures, seminars, and exhibitions that highlight his life and legacy.
