History of YMA
The Young Mizo Association was founded on June 15, 1935, by Christian missionaries in Mizoram. Initially named the Young Lushai Association, it was renamed the Young Mizo Association in 1947. Since its inception, YMA has played a pivotal role in preserving Mizo culture, promoting Christian values, and fostering social responsibility among the youth.
