Gapyeong Remembrance Day is a commemoration of the heroic events associated with the Battle of Gapyeong, which took place during the Korean War (1950–1953). The day is particularly significant in Australia, Canada, and South Korea, as it marks the Allied contribution to the defense of Korea from North Korean and Chinese forces.

In Australia: April 24 is observed annually as Gapyeong Remembrance Day. Military parades, memorial ceremonies, and wreath-laying ceremonies are held.

In Canada: The day is also an important part of the history of the Canadian Armed Forces. The Canadian 2nd Battalion (PPCLI) was awarded a Commendation for their heroism in the battle. A memorial to the Canadian soldiers has been erected in Gapyeong.

In South Korea: The city of Gapyeong hosts annual commemorative events involving Allied and local officials.

The Battle of Gapyeong remains an important event that symbolizes allied unity and the willingness to fight for peace and freedom. The day serves as a reminder of the sacrifices and heroism of the soldiers who defended South Korea during one of the most difficult wars of the 20th century.
