Saint Devote's Day is an important holiday celebrated in Sanremo and other cities in Liguria, Italy, on the first Saturday after January 27. The day is dedicated to Saint Devote, the patron saint of the city and of all of Liguria.

Rites and Traditions
Procession. On Saint Devote's Day, a colorful procession takes place, where residents and pilgrims carry the holy icon through the streets of the city. The procession is accompanied by music and dancing, as well as performances by local groups.

Festive events. In parallel with religious ceremonies, various cultural and entertainment events are held. This may include musical performances, exhibitions, and fairs offering traditional dishes and local products.

Prayers and blessings. Churches hold special services where believers can pray to Saint Devote, asking for protection and help.
