Cavity-Free Future Day was established in 2016 on the initiative of the Alliance for a Cavity-Free Future (ACFF). The main goal of the holiday is to draw public attention to the problem of caries, which is one of the most widespread diseases in the world.

Goals and objectives

* Increasing awareness of the causes of caries.
* Promoting preventive measures and proper oral hygiene.
* Reducing the number of people suffering from caries and its related complications.
* Highlighting the need for access to dental care for everyone.

How it is celebrated
In different countries, this day is marked by educational campaigns, free dental consultations, and school events aimed at teaching children proper dental care. Dentists also give lectures, hold workshops, and distribute informational materials about caries prevention.
