Africa Day is celebrated annually on May 25. This day is dedicated to the unity of African peoples and the anniversary of the founding of the Organization of African Unity (OAU), established on May 25, 1963, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Today, the date is observed as a symbol of solidarity, progress, and the struggle for independence and development of the African continent.
