Constitution Day in the Philippines is celebrated annually on February 2 to commemorate the adoption of the 1987 Constitution of the Philippines. The document, still in force today, was an important step toward democratic governance after the end of the authoritarian regime of President Ferdinand Marcos.

Celebration Traditions

Ceremonial Events: Official ceremonies and events are held in various government institutions to promote patriotism and respect for the rights and freedoms of citizens.

Public Discussions and Debates: Political and community leaders organize debates and forums to discuss issues of democracy, civil rights, and the prospects for the development of constitutional law in the Philippines.
