* On November 23, 1900, Act No. 49 was enacted, establishing the civil government of the province of Benguet.
* In 1994, Republic Act No. 7672 was passed, declaring June 18 an annual special non-working holiday in the province of Benguet.
* On December 13, 2024, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. signed Republic Act No. 12099, designating November 23 as the official Benguet Day.
