Firefighter's Day in Poland is celebrated annually on May 4. This date is associated with the feast of St. Florian, the patron saint of firefighters and rescuers, whose memory is honored on this day.

Celebration Traditions
Religious Services. Catholic churches hold masses in honor of St. Florian, where they pray for the health and safety of firefighters.

Award Ceremonies. On this day, firefighters who have distinguished themselves in service are presented with awards, certificates and medals for their bravery and contribution to ensuring safety.

Demonstrations and Parades. Firefighters organize demonstrations, demonstrating their skills and equipment. Festive processions are often held, in which fire brigades and equipment participate.

Events for children. Tours of fire stations, safety workshops, games and quizzes on fire safety.

Social Events. Families and friends of firefighters gather for festive dinners to celebrate this special day.
