Meaning of the term "Saudade"
A feeling of loss and melancholy. Saudade expresses the desire to return to past times or to recover what has been lost, but can also contain an element of pleasant melancholy, because often this melancholy is associated with something precious or joyful.
Nostalgia. This feeling is close to the concept of nostalgia, but deeper, since saudade can be both sadness and a sweet memory.
