Air Force Navigator Service Day is celebrated annually on March 24. This date was chosen in honor of a significant event: in 1916, the first navigation department was created in the Russian Empire as part of the aviation service. Later, after the reform and modernization of the armed forces, the tradition of honoring navigators continued in modern Russia.
