How the holiday is celebrated
Ceremonies and ceremonial meetings. On this day, official events are held to honor guard and escort service employees. They include ceremonial gatherings, awards ceremonies, where the best employees receive gratitude, medals, and other awards for their valor and professionalism.
Memorial events. In a number of cities where FSIN institutions are located, events are held dedicated to the memory of employees who died in the line of duty. This may include laying flowers at monuments or memorial plaques.
Veteran meetings. Veterans of the guard and escort service can gather for meetings with young employees, lectures and discussions are held on professional ethics and the history of the service.
Cultural events. The celebration may also include cultural events such as concerts and exhibitions dedicated to the work of the service and its history, which helps strengthen ties within the employee community and maintain the spirit of corporate culture.
