Awarding the best employees. On this day, the heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs award employees who have distinguished themselves in the fight against crime, present state and departmental awards, letters of gratitude, and certificates of honor.
Commemorative events. Many cities host ceremonial meetings, meetings with veterans of the service, and laying flowers at memorials in memory of those killed in the line of duty.
Publication of successful cases. The media often publish materials about the most significant solved cases to emphasize the importance of the work of the CID.
