Loi Krathong

Loy Krathong is one of the most beautiful festivals in Thailand, celebrated on the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar (usually in November). During the festival, people release small floating baskets called krathongs into the water to give thanks to the water goddess and seek purification.
