Literary Events: Various cultural events are held on this day, such as exhibitions, literary readings, poetry competitions, and author performances. Writers and literary figures participate in public debates and lectures on current issues in literature and art.
Award Ceremonies: In Taiwan, award ceremonies may be held on this day to recognize the best writers, poets, and translators, as well as to give prizes for contributions to Chinese and Taiwanese literature.
Studying and disseminating classical literature. In schools and universities, this day is dedicated to the in-depth study of classical Chinese literature, as well as familiarization with the works of contemporary authors, both Taiwanese and Chinese.
