Reservists' Day

Reservist Day of Ukraine, celebrated on May 18, was established in 2021 to highlight the importance of the role of citizens who are in the reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations. This day serves to recognize the contribution of reservists to strengthening the country's defense and to raise public awareness of the importance of military personnel in the reserve.

On Reservist Day of Ukraine, various events are held, such as ceremonies, meetings with veterans and active reservists, lectures, presentations and patriotic events. These events help strengthen the bond between citizens and the army, and draw attention to the importance of mobilization and military service in general.
