Day of the furniture industry worker
June 8, Sunday

History of the holiday
The holiday was established by the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 463/95 on May 25, 1995. Its goal is to acknowledge the contribution of furniture industry workers to the development of the economy, improvement of the population's quality of life, and creation of comfortable living spaces. The choice of date — the second Sunday of June — allows the professional holiday to coincide with a weekend.
