Day of Remembrance for Fallen Medical Workers is a Ukrainian memorial day dedicated to honoring healthcare workers who lost their lives while performing their professional duties, especially in conditions of armed conflict, emergencies, or epidemics.

Date of observance
This day is observed annually on July 10.

Purpose of the holiday
The holiday aims to:

* honor the memory of doctors, paramedics, nurses, orderlies, and other medical workers who died in the line of duty;
* draw public attention to the sacrifice and courage of medical personnel;
* express respect for medical workers operating in dangerous and extreme conditions.

Context and significance
The establishment of this day was prompted by the participation of thousands of Ukrainian medical workers in saving lives both on the front lines and in the rear. Military medics and civilian specialists often work under shelling, evacuate the wounded from battlefields, and provide assistance in bomb shelters and hospitals. Many of them died fulfilling their duty.

Forms of commemoration

* Moments of silence in medical institutions and at military bases.
* Media and social media publications with stories of fallen medics.
* Installation of memorial signs and remembrance ceremonies.
* Charitable initiatives supporting the families of the deceased.
