Saint Wite's Day is celebrated on June 1st each year in honor of Saint Wite (also known as Saint Candida), an Anglo-Saxon saint who is venerated particularly in the county of Dorset, England. Saint Wite is the patron saint of the village of Whitchurch Canonicorum, where her shrine is located in the Church of St. Candida and Holy Cross.
