Patriot's Day is a holiday celebrated in the United States and is especially important in the states of Massachusetts, Wisconsin, and Maine, as well as in other parts of the country. Battle of Lexington and Concord (April 19, 1775). Patriot's Day commemorates the beginning of the American Revolution, when the first armed clashes between British troops and local militias took place in Lexington and Concord, Massachusetts, in 1775. These battles became the starting point for the American Revolution, and the day has since been considered a symbol of the beginning of the fight for freedom and independence.
