Reading Day across America
March 4, Monday
Read Across America Day is celebrated annually on March 2 and is a holiday dedicated to reading and literature that was founded by the National Education Association (NEA) in 1998. The day was chosen to honor the birthday of the famous children's author Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel), who is known for his bright and exciting books for children.Celebration Traditions
