They perform a wide range of tasks, including: assisting students with special educational needs, supporting teachers in preparing materials and organizing lessons, assisting with classroom management, and working individually with students who need additional support.
How Paraprofessional Day is Celebrated
Expressing gratitude. Teachers, school administrators, and students often organize events to express their appreciation for paraprofessionals. These may include thank-you notes, gifts, or special assemblies.
Professional development. Some schools organize workshops and trainings for paraprofessionals to help them develop their skills.
