National Kindergarten Day is celebrated annually on April 21 in the United States. The day celebrates the importance of early education and the role of kindergartens in children's development. The date is chosen to honor the birthday of Friedrich Froebel (1782–1852), a German educator who is considered the founder of the kindergarten concept.

How is it celebrated?
Kindergarten activities: Thematic activities are organized: crafts, games, stories about nature and music. Parents often attend the events and participate in games with their children.

Educator recognition: Preschool teachers are thanked for their contribution to children's development.

Awareness campaigns: Lectures are held in schools and community centers on the importance of early education.

Children's activities: Picnics, drawing competitions, and theatrical performances with the participation of children are organized.
