The National Automotive Service Professionals Day is observed annually during the second week of June; in 2025, it will take place from June 9 to 15. This holiday is dedicated to recognizing the vital role of vehicle service professionals who ensure the safety and reliability of our transportation.

History of the holiday
In 2001, the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) established the National Automotive Service Professionals Day to honor the contributions of mechanics, parts specialists, and other industry workers. The success of this day led to its expansion into a week in 2005. Since then, the National Automotive Service Professionals Week has been held annually during the second week of June.

Importance of the holiday
Modern vehicles are increasingly complex, requiring a high level of expertise from professionals. Automotive service professionals play a key role in ensuring road safety by maintaining vehicles in good condition. Their work helps reduce accidents and improves vehicle reliability.

How it is celebrated
Various activities are organized throughout the week to recognize the contributions of service professionals:

* Hosting appreciation lunches and dinners for auto service staff
* Offering training seminars and workshops for skill development
* Posting messages of gratitude on social media using hashtags #NationalAutomotiveServiceProfessionalsWeek and #ASPM
