Baltic Freedom Day is a commemorative day in the United States, established by Congress. It is observed annually on June 14 in memory of the deportations organized by the Soviet regime in the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) following the signing of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.

Purpose of the day

* To honor the memory of the victims of mass repressions and deportations
* To support the Baltic peoples' desire for independence
* To reflect the United States' commitment to freedom and human rights
