International Day of Homeless Animals

International Homeless Animals Day is observed annually on the third Saturday of August, as well as by some other organizations on April 4. The Homeless Animals Day celebrated in August was initiated in 1992 by the non-governmental organization - the International Society for Animal Rights (ISAR) and supported by animal protection organizations in more than 150 countries around the world. It is observed in more than 150 countries on 6 continents.
