Super Bowl Sunday is one of the biggest sporting events in the United States, celebrated annually on the first or second Sunday in February. The Super Bowl is the final game of the National Football League (NFL), where the two best teams of the season — the winners of the American and National Football Conferences — meet for the championship title. This day goes far beyond the sporting event and becomes a holiday with many traditions, including family gatherings, loud parties, and a spectacular television show that attracts millions of viewers.

The first Super Bowl was held in 1967 and has become an annual event that has become an American sports tradition.

Super Bowl Sunday Traditions
Watching with family and friends. People gather at home or in sports bars to watch the game. The event is accompanied by abundant treats — chicken wings, nachos, pizza, and beer are considered traditional.

Halftime Show. This is a grand musical performance by world-famous stars. The show has become an integral part of the holiday and attracts viewers no less than the game itself. It is also distinguished by expensive and large-scale advertising, for which companies pay millions of dollars, trying to surprise and entertain viewers.

Commercials. Advertising during the Super Bowl breaks is considered the most expensive and most anticipated of the year. Companies often create specially prepared commercials, turning them into mini-films with creative scripts and the participation of celebrities.

Fan rituals. Many families and companies have their own traditions - decorating homes and workplaces with team symbols, holding competitions for the best costume in the colors of their favorite team, as well as friendly disputes and predictions for the outcome of the match.
