Day of the Dead is a traditional Mexican holiday celebrated on November 1st and 2nd. This holiday honors deceased loved ones and is a time for families to come together to remember and celebrate the lives of those who have passed away.

During this celebration, families create ofrendas (altars) adorned with photographs, favorite foods, and mementos of the departed. Skulls made of sugar, known as calaveras, are also common symbols of the holiday. The colorful decorations and festivities reflect a joyful remembrance of life rather than a mourning of death.
