National Unity Day (Rūzi vahdati millī) is a national holiday in Tajikistan, celebrated annually on June 27. It symbolizes the end of the civil war (1992–1997) and the signing of a peace agreement between the opposing sides.

History of the holiday
On June 27, 1997, in Moscow, the "General Agreement on Peace and National Accord in Tajikistan" was signed between the government and the United Tajik Opposition. This document ended a five-year armed conflict that claimed tens of thousands of lives and devastated the country's economy.
National Unity Day was officially established in 1998.
