History of the Holiday
The holiday was established to recognize the important role of state registrars in ensuring legal order, business process transparency, and the protection of property rights. On July 1, 2004, the Law "On State Registration of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs" came into force in Ukraine, marking the beginning of the modern state registration system.
Who Are State Registrars?
State registrars are officials who work in Centers for Administrative Services (TsNAP), in local government bodies, or at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. They are responsible for:
Registering legal entities and individual entrepreneurs
Making changes to registration data
Registering the termination of entrepreneurial activity
Registering rights to real estate and their encumbrances
Ensuring the openness and accessibility of registers
