National Look-Alike Day
April 20, Sunday

History of the Holiday
The holiday was created in the 1980s by television journalist Jack Etzel. While searching for an interesting story, he and cameraman Rick Minutello noticed a person who resembled Humphrey Bogart. They began asking passersby which celebrity they thought they resembled, which inspired Etzel to create National Look-Alike Day.
How to Celebrate
Here are some popular ways to celebrate this day:
- Find your look-alike: try using online services or apps that help find people with similar appearances.
- Dress up as a celebrity: choose your favorite celebrity and try to recreate their look with clothing, hairstyle, and accessories.
- Coordinate outfits with a friend: dress alike with a friend or family member to highlight your resemblance.
- Visit a wax museum: museums like Madame Tussauds offer realistic celebrity figures with which you can take photos.
