Iced Tea Day is celebrated annually in the United States on June 10. This holiday is dedicated to the popular summer drink — iced tea, which has become an integral part of American culture and is especially popular in the southern states.

History of the holiday
Although iced tea had been consumed in the U.S. since the early 19th century, its mass popularity began in 1904 at the World’s Fair in St. Louis. In the hot weather, tea merchant Richard Blechynden offered visitors chilled tea, which caused a sensation and marked the beginning of the drink's widespread popularity across the country.

* Preparing homemade iced tea with lemon, mint, or fruit
* Hosting outdoor tea parties with friends and family
* Visiting cafés and restaurants offering special deals and tastings
